Learn about the history and everyday transactions of Antigua's Mercado while exploring its walkways. Get intimate with the local vendors to learn about the unique fruits and vegetables used in Guatemalan dishes. While walking through the market we will sample exotic fruits and give you the opportunity to make purchases of fruits and vegetables to take with you. End the tour with an authentic Guatemalan meal in the market to have the opportunity to sample our local cuisine.
Sunset Dinner Tour
Spend a relaxing two and a half hours eating eight to ten different dishes in three of the most renowned Guatemalan restaurants that Antigua has to offer. Try foods from several different regions around Guatemala that you would not be able to find in the street. Taste classical Mayan stews and enjoy desserts traditionally reserved for holidays. Eat and relax in comfortable restaurant environments while learning about Guatemalan food and ingredients and engaging in great conversation. And if you like rum, this tour has the option to taste cocktails or rum samples in a cozy cellar.
